Job Description

DESIGNATION: CNC programmer and operator
EXPERIENCE:Min 2 Year
SALARY:As per industry standard

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
2.Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
3.Communicates with engineers and clients who will use the programs.
4.Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
5.Determines sequence of operations in a program.
6. Chooses cutting tools that will be needed.
7.Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.
8.Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.
9.Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.
10.Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes.
11.Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the client.
12.Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the client.
13.Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.
14.Provides training for clients on automated systems.
15.Complies with all safety rules and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as CNC Machine operator.
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Successfully completed apprenticeship is required.
