1. Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to
a computer
2. Following a script, screenplay or outline
3. Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include
selecting music and writing voice-overs
4. Inputting graphics to enhance footage
5. Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them
into one rough cut file
6. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty
footage
7. Working closely with directors to present a final product
that matches his or her vision
8. Create an initial proposed storyboard draft ofthe video to present to clients and receive approval before
beginning to digitally alter video
9. Improve video and sound quality using
various video software
10. Edit video to include preselected music, interviews,
sound clips and other important aspects of the project
11. Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for
finalized videos according to clients specifications
12. Creating and delivering motion graphics for various
media
Working with art and creative teams to select audio, video,
colors, #animation, etc. for graphic design
13. Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to
enhance motion graphics
14. Staying up to date on the latest graphic design
techniques.
