Job Description
We are seeking an experienced UFT Automation Tester to join our software testing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in test automation using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) tool. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, as well as maintaining the test framework and test data.
Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

- Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using UFT for functional and regression testing of software applications.
- Creating and maintaining the test automation framework and test data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design effective test cases.
- Identifying and documenting test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on the application requirements.
- Conducting test execution, logging defects, and tracking them through the defect lifecycle.
- Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Participating in code reviews to ensure the quality of test scripts and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborating with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.
Preferred:
- Certification in UFT or other relevant testing certifications.
- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (REST, SOAP).
