Company Description: AccelaTest is a growing SaaS Test Case Management System company dedicated to empowering development teams to confidently deploy every feature as desired by their users. Our innovative approach combines the business language of Gherkin scripts with detailed step-by-step test cases, enabling testing teams to shift their testing left and prevent bugs. We are a small, self-directed team focusing on producing high-quality code and exceeding customer expectations.


Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a senior member, you will be responsible for front-end development, database design, and API layer implementation. Your expertise will help us create efficient and secure code, leveraging Angular for the front end and Loopback4 (and occasionally Express) for the API layer. We also embrace the use of ChatGPT to accelerate code creation and streamline unit testing processes. Prior entrepreneurship experience or experience at a startup and familiarity with the Lean Startup methodology are major pluses.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop front-end features based on wireframes created by our designer using Angular.
  • Design and extend new database tables within PostgreSQL based on project requirements.
  • Implement efficient and secure API layer using Loopback4, with occasional use of Express or prepared statements for specific scenarios.
  • Leverage ChatGPT to accelerate code creation, refine code, and create unit tests.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality code and effective unit testing practices.
  • Manage your own schedule and make intelligent decisions to deliver high-quality work consistently.
  • Contribute to the company's growth by utilizing 20% time to work on innovative projects that empower teams to deploy confidently or add improvements you find important to AccelaTest.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a full-stack developer, showcasing the ability to create high-quality code and exceed customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in Angular for front-end development.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Willingness to learn or familiar with Loopback4 for API development, with knowledge of Express as an alternative.
  • Experience leveraging ChatGPT or similar tools for code creation and unit testing.
  • Prior entrepreneurship experience or experience in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and self-direct, making informed decisions to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work in an asynchronous team environment.
