Job Description

Job Role : - Assistant Manager - Vendor & Purchase Mangement

Location: Bangalore

Experience : 8 10 years

Salary Bracket Up to 12 LPA

Working culture: 5days working, WFO, Heath benefit.

Qualification- M.Sc. / BSc / Diploma in Materials Management from any reputed institute

Prefer Industry Healthcare/Pharma/Biotech

Core Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for achievement of business objectives by ensuring timely supply of requisite input materials i.e. raw materials, consumables, solvents, reagents, packing materials, spares, stationeries etc; Periodic follow ups with all the stakeholders, service both internal and external customers to meet the organization standards as well to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities

Role Accountabilities :

1. To track the purchase request (PR) in SAP.
2. End to end tracking (Purchase to Pay ).
3. Sourcing right vendors globally for all raw materials, packing and choosing competitive vendors.
4. Good manufacturing practice (GMP) process and selection of vendors and audit co-ordination.
5. Good negotiation with vendor for Pricing, Quality, INCOTERM, delivery turn around time (TAT) etc.
6. Releasing the purchase order (PO) as per agreed turnaround time with due diligence.
7. MSEZ / SEZ / EOU documentations.
8. Finding opportunities for executing annual rate contracts.

Technical / functional Skills:

1. Sound knowledge on Chemicals, API, Impurities, Working Standard, Excipients, and Packing materials
2. SAP MM module
3. Good knowledge on Import regulations for licensed and restricted products.
4. Knowledge of Customs and Excise procedures
5. Negotiation skill and vendor development
6. Purchase experience in CRO, CMO, Pharma companies
7. Knowledge of International Air Traffic Association-Dangerous Goods regulations
8. Better co-ordination with forwarder / CHA / logistic partners
