Job Description
for SCM Head profile- Sr. No Key Responsibilties Description
- 1 Monitoring Purchase activities P.O. approval, P.O. get approved
- Review quality of purchase products
- Purchase enquiry and analysis report of quotations
- Processing purchase requisition
- Innovations to the process
- 2 Vendor development Research potential vendors
- Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
- 3 Co-ordination To coordinate with third party logistics(3 PLs)
- Coordinate with ware house staff to ensure proper storage
- To ensure that the business goals of the organization are in synchronization with logistics system
- 4 Purchase Dashboard MIS - Stock, Material, Transporters etc Monitoring stock and co-ordinate with Manish Sir & team
- To ensure that there is a safe and timely receipt of goods.
- Planning and implementing logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as required
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- 5 Timely Factory visit Need to Visit factory on monthly basis for smooth functioning of process
- To ensure that there is a safe and timely dispatch of goods.
- 6 Other Purchase related work Payment List prepare twice in week
- Improving the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible
- Resolving any issues of suppliers
- Implementing new technologies and staying alert tone trends in the sector
- 7 Raw Materials Planning RM Planning & team co-ordination
- Working on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance
- 8 Team handling Managing and motivating team of Purchase department
- Training to be given in Department as well as at factory level as and when required
