Job Description

for Mechanical Engineer   A Mechanical engineer is required to strengthen Mechanical detail engg for
WTP/ETP/STP/UF-RO/SWRO project at Vadodara office of M/s Vatech Wabag Ltd.
Wabag is worlds 3rd largest water operator && having the presence over 25 countries.
The candidate should have following qualification and experience (min):

Profile && Responsibilities:
1) Complete technical knowledge of Mechanical Item / Work Process for WTP /
ETP / STP / TTP various water treatment plants
2) Working experience of complete range of static and rotating equipment of
conventional && advanced water/ waste water treatment plants etc
3) Detailed Mechanical equipment engg starting from Purchase Requisitions to
Manufacturing clearances in coordination with all engg disciplines.
o Interaction with vendor for technical negotiations and approval of the
specification
o Review of vendor documents and technical clearances && comparison
o Issue Good for Manufacturing clearance post ordering vendor documents
4) Study the basic input engg doc like P&&ID, PDC , layout, etc and verify with tender
specifications, MOM, Addendums to generate detailed engineering enquiry
documents for various process && mechanical Item .
5) Quality Engineering deliverables having full technical Specifications with
applicable codes, contract compliance, BOQ/ cost variance.
6) Adherence to Project timelines/ schedule of detail engineering drg /doc
7) Maintain engg document submission and approval track record in respective
folder.
8) Follow-up and approvals from client/consultant in coordination with projects
9) Site visit && coordination with site engineer /RCM as and when require.
10) Review and inter discipline checking && coordination with all engg disciplines &&
projects / procurements for optimization && Value Engineering.
11) Mech GA drawing review, Mech Data sheets review, Inputs to civil Team, 3D
model review with 30/60&& 90% Progress review.
12) Updating of enquiry in ERP for final purchase/PO and documents in
Documentation Portal .
13) Experienced with Equipment calculation like Pump hydraulic, HVAC , Blower
selection
14) Work to be completed within project timelines/ schedule.
