Role Profile
The SDA LAN project is initiated to rollout the SDA LAN technology to Client Healthineers 57 complex sites. The
project is globally managed, APAC rollout manager would be part of this global team and specifically drive the
rollouts in the region.
Outside of the role, there are opportunities for educational, training and communication programs in technology,
building relationships across IT, and numerous opportunities to exemplify the Healthineers Purpose and Values.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills Required
Leadership skills:
Excellent Project Manager to organize complex situations based on self-organized approaches
Excellent communicator with the ability to create high quality verbal and written summaries that are
comprehensive, accurate and focused on business partner understanding and impact
Highly motivated team player with a successful track record of working collaboratively in a matrix organization
Ability to lead with integrity and remain in calm during stressful situations while managing multiple demands and
changing priorities
Crisis management skills:
Ability to rapidly absorb and understand complex technical situations under pressure
Ability to facilitate conversations with large groups of remote people
Enthusiasm to learn new technologies, make new contacts and influence the way IT operates
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Technical skills:
Good understanding of SDA LAN technology
Understanding and experience of IT Networking, both voice and data would be required
Experience and General Skills:
Minimum 5 years in global IT projects
ITIL V3/V4 certification
Project management certification
Ability to build strong relationships and trust with Business.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the users
while meeting deadlines.
Critical attention to detail and solid creative problem-solving skills.
Passion for solving operational and business problems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Roll Specific Tasks:
Preparation of a site for migration:
Communication with all relevant stakeholders (following the project communication strategy)
Check passive infrastructure
Collect end devices data
Involve and cooperate with Business Partner Managers / Client Real Estate team onsite to
o Define special networks use cases
o Define test cases, etc.
Discuss and document downtimes
Discuss and agree migration approach per site (Rollout Runbook)
Align with provider on all those topics above
Migration:
Be available as first point of contact in case of escalations
Plan and complete tests (might be in waves)
Organize migration, so relevant colleagues know when to do their steps
Force rollback, if required
Align on all topics above with provider
After migration:
Coordinate test acceptance and approval of successful migration
Coordinate handover to BAU
Cancel CMO Service (no double charging)
Align on all topics above with provider
