Job Description
- Minimum 7 years of Weblogic, IBM WAS, MQ experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate, internally and with our Application Team.
- Excellent knowledge of Weblogic,WAS Administration
- Experience in IBM WAS and QA
- High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for WebLogic
- Troubleshoot of the application issues.
- Log rotation/retention - verification and update
- Problem Management
- Integration of WebLogic with Apache Web server/OHS and WAS with IHS/AHS
- Certificate Implementation
- Patch updation
- Performance tuning activity
- Preparation of RCA for Major Incidents
- Repeat Incident / Alert Analysis www.wipro.com
- Performance tuning suggest by OEM
- Updation and maintenance of Availability, Capacity management
- Risk Analysis and providing mitigation planning
- Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions
- Planning and execution of DR Drills based on availability of DR setup and recovery procedures
- Preparing, maintaining and updation of SOP and KBase
- Maintaining and updation of Infra AS IS / Infra Documents
- Incident / Problem / Change management
- Reinstallations and configurations raised due to Incident
- Open files monitoring
- Check for running Process on server
- Check the accessibility of applications & sessions
- Check for disk space availability
- HTTP service counts monitoring
- apache process monitoring
- Checking Server login
- Server availability checking
- Monitoring the log files
- Preparing Daily checklist
- Stopping and Starting of webserver Instances
- Application URL monitoring through intranet & internet
- Health Monitoring of Instances
- MPM pools monitoring of Instances
- Monitoring Memory and CPU utilization
- Monitoring file/disk space utilization
- Incident and Request Fulfillment Management
- Provides proactive input into design issues/constraints, performance tuning, and impact analysis of changes.
- Advise on hardware and performance questions, and recommend best practices
- Ensure that we have appropriate maintenance in place including backups, index maintenance, consistency checks and statistics maintenance
- Participate in 24x7 shift coverage & Keep time entry up to date within 24 hours
- Strictly adhere to the internal policies, processes, and procedures
- Implement/Support pertinent high availability solutions.
