 Job Tittle: Machine Shop Incharge - Tool Room, B2B Manufacturing Firm

 Location: on-site, Faridabad.

 Experience: 6+ years

 Role and Responsibility Document:

 Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

 Principal Accountability: The Machine Shop Incharge - Tool Room will be responsible for managing the tool room operations and ensuring that all tools and machines are in good condition to meet production targets and quality standards.

 1. Manage the tool room operations and ensure that all tools and machines are in good condition:

a. Ensure that all tools and machines are maintained and repaired as required to ensure that they are always in good working condition.

b. Develop and implement a schedule for regular maintenance and cleaning of tools and machines.

c. Ensure that all tools and machines are calibrated and tested as per standards.

d. Ensure that all tool room processes are documented and followed by the tool room team.

2. Develop and implement a maintenance plan for tools and machines to ensure that they are always in good working condition:

a. Develop and implement a maintenance plan that outlines the maintenance requirements for all tools and machines in the tool room.

b. Ensure that all tools and machines are maintained as per the maintenance plan.

c. Monitor the performance of tools and machines and identify issues that need to be addressed through maintenance or repair.

d. Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are documented and recorded.

3. Identify and recommend new tools and machines that can improve production efficiency and quality:

a. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in tool room operations and identify new tools and machines that can improve production efficiency and quality.

b. Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of new tools and machines.

c. Make recommendations to senior management on the purchase and implementation of new tools and machines.

 4. Supervise and manage the tool room team to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently:

a. Manage and supervise the tool room team to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.

b. Set performance objectives and KPIs for the team and ensure that they are regularly reviewed and updated.

c. Provide ongoing coaching and support to the team to help them achieve their targets.

d. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

 5. Coordinate with the production team to ensure that tools and machines are available as per production schedules:

a. Collaborate with the production team to ensure that tools and machines are available as per production schedules.

b. Ensure that the tool room team is informed about production schedules and requirements.

c. Work with the production team to resolve any issues related to tooling or machine availability

 6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the tool room:
