Production Planning and Process Optimization
- Develop and implement efficient production workflows, systems, and processes.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve output.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.

Process Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Optimize resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve operational efficiency.

Equipment and Technology Management
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and operation of production equipment.
- Work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Support the integration of new technologies and machinery into production lines.

Quality Assurance
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the production process.
- Investigate and address quality issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.

Safety and Compliance
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to reduce hazards.
- Ensure production operations comply with regulatory and environmental requirements.

Collaboration and Team Support
- Work closely with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical support to production staff, including training on equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve material or equipment issues.

Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of production processes, workflows, and improvements.
- Generate reports on production performance, efficiency, and downtime for management review.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and production planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ERP systems).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to work effectively with teams.
- Work involves both office settings and production floor environments.
- May require standing, walking, or operating equipment for extended periods.
- Occasional travel to supplier sites or other facilities may be required.
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or PMP (Project Management Professional) are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
