Urgent job opening of Field Engineer for Software Company at Thane.

 

Education & Skills:

1) Bachelor's degree or technical certifications.

2) 25 years of experience in installation, repair, or troubleshooting.

3) Knowledge of industry tools, equipment, and software.

4) Certifications like CCNA or equivalent are a plus.

5) Strong communication and teamwork skills.

6) Ability to work independently and manage time well.

7) Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime.

 

Office Shift: Rotational Shift

 

Key Responsibilities:

1) Set up and configure equipment, systems, or machines as required by the client or project.

2) Test equipment using tools like OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), fusion splicers, power meters, and light sources.

3) Understand and work with Optical Fiber Cables.

4) Inspect sites to ensure everything is working properly.

5) Quickly fix technical problems to reduce delays.

6) Provide technical help directly to clients.

7) Collaborate with team members to solve complex issues.

8) Keep records of installations, repairs, and service visits.

9) Write and submit reports on fieldwork and project updates.
