Job Description
Explore opportunities for staff growth and development, foster relationships within the department and organization Assist in conducting in-service meetings Ensure Safe and Infection-free environment in the Unit To provide appropriate and timely progress reports on patients response to therapy Communicate with Physicians/ surgeons about recent trends in rehabilitation Assisting the team leader in frequent Documentation check and review Maintaining patient data along with Unit Team Leader Assisitng the Unit Leader in compilation of unit performance data on a monthly basis
Patient Care Provide professional rehabilitation services when prescribed by physicians/ surgeons Assess and recommend therapy beneficial to patient progress based on individual patient prognosis Treat patients using the knowledge, art and skill inherent in the profession of rehabilitation services Educate patients/ family members in procedures and reaching set goals of recommended therapy Communicate with Physicians/ surgeons regarding patient's plan of care, progress and review Promote community education by appropriate Community Outreach Programs Ensure Quality assurance in service delivery To collaborate with other service areas/ departments for patient related requirements
To identify need for processing requisition and repairs for equipment and facilities To assist the Unit Leader in tracking key performance indicators To report to the Unit Leader about Daily Operations/ functioning in every shift Daily patient care, Communication and Queries regarding therapy Regular discussion and brainstorming with team leaders on patient treatment and review and participation in hospital activities towards
Needs approval To identify the need for providing/ controlling the flow of equipment and other supplies necessary for service to patients in all patient care settings To identify the need for inventories and requisitions to other departments Ensure optimum utilization of resources To provide inputs for training needs
