Job Description
- Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Talend Data Quality and Data Governance Specialist with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and governance of our organization's data. You will leverage Talend's suite of tools to manage data quality, implement data governance frameworks, and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize data management practices. Key Responsibilities Talend Data Quality Management : Implement and maintain data quality processes using Talend Data Quality tools. Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop and monitor data quality metrics and reports, addressing any issues or discrepancies. Data Governance Implementation Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with data stewards, business units, and IT teams to ensure compliance with data governance frameworks. Document data management processes and ensure alignment with governance standards. Data Integration And Management Use Talend Data Integration tools to manage data pipelines and ETL processes. Ensure seamless integration of data across various systems and platforms. Support data migration efforts and ensure data integrity throughout the process. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with business users, data owners, and IT teams to understand data requirements and ensure data governance objectives are met. Provide training and support to stakeholders on data quality and governance best practices. Act as a point of contact for resolving data-related issues. Compliance And Risk Management Ensure data management practices comply with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Identify potential risks related to data quality and governance, and implement mitigation strategies. Participate in audits and assessments to ensure continuous improvement of data governance practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. 4 to 6 years of experience in data quality, data governance, and data management. Hands-on experience with Talend Data Quality, Talend Data Integration, and other Talend tools. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and ETL processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices. Preferred Skills Certification in Talend Data Quality or Data Governance is a plus. Experience with other data management and governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra). Knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies, or Master Data Management (MDM). Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. (ref:hirist.tech),
