Job Description

    Purpose: To contribute to employee engagement and organizational development through improving the efficiency of human resources by effectively implementing HR policies, programs, and activities, including Learning and Development and Wellness schemes while successfully integrating digital resources into learning structures. Job Context: Jayashree Textiles has a workforce consisting of around 600 skilled workmen and 5500 unskilled workmen. It is a need to equip the employees with necessary technical, behavioural, safety, and operational knowledge to maintain a productive and safe environment. Major Challenges Include To educate employees, promote growth mindset and enable the work environment and culture change that leads to increase in participation. To create a sense of ownership in employees and administer effective training courses for them. Key Result Areas Supporting Actions Learning and Development Spread awareness regarding the need for development and continuous improvement Formulate and ensure the implementation of Yearly and Quarterly calendars based on Learning Need Analysis and MDP/IDP plans Ensure effective usage of Gyanodaya, Poornata ELM and promotion of new channels of learning Organize employee/stakeholder feedback surveys and provide reverse feedback to BCOE & GCOE around L&D initiatives Talent Management and Succession Planning Ensure the effective implementation of TM processes including talent segmentation, shortlist nominations for DACs and support BCOE in conducting DACs end-to-end Act as the SPOC for the repository for all IDPs in the unit and monitor and assist in the employees" development journey and provide status updates to all stakeholders Identify pain points and provide insights to improve effectiveness of TM initiatives Creation of succession slate as a part of TRC Organizational Effectiveness & Employee Engagement Design, plan and implement OE and EE interventions and programmes in BU while ensuring their alignment with overall business strategy Ensure on-time submission of nominations, analysis of responses for organization wide employee surveys Young Talent Management Handle end-to-end attraction, selection and retention process of entry-level talent Identify insights w.r.t. unit level campus hiring, job rotation of stakeholders and conduct attrition analysis Strategize and promote continuous engagement plans and employer brand agenda across campuses that are critical for the business Review potential institutes that the business hires from based on its needs and trends Induction Facilitate orientation of new joiners describing the organizational facilities, role of the employee and how they fit in the organization's strategy and goals Educate the new joiners on the organizational policies, code of conduct, leave system and other rules and regulations Track induction feedback and develop action plan People Development Guide, motivate and coach subordinates to upgrade their skills to take higher responsibilities Identify training needs of team members and workers and coordinate their development Empower the team to take decision in daily matters,
