Experience 7 - 12 Years Location AkurdiMaharashtra Nature of Job Manufacturing Job role Manufacturing Engineering Division Akurdi Department Materials Level / Grade L3 Functional Area Component Development Forging & Machining 1 Job Title MGR (COMP DVLP - F&M) 2 Reporting Functional reporting to: Divisional Head (CD F&M) 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Desirable: B.E. (Mechanical); IIT / NIT Conversant with Cold Forging and Hot Forging Thorough experience of using Forging Simulation Softwares, designing of forging Dies etc, forging trials and process setting Must have developed parts through Cold & Hot forging including trouble shooting - Machining processes - CNC/ VMC/ Milling, drilling, tapping, Grinding, Broaching etc. and basic knowledge of Heat Treatment ii) Experience Minimum: 7 years Maximum: 12 years iii) Age Limit Minimum: 27 years Maximum: 34 years 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Component Development of Cold / Hot forge parts with secondary machining operations Responsibilities: Development of cold / hot forged parts with Vendors. Drawing study & Manufacturability points closure with R&D Process planning and selection of fixture, Tools & gauges Prepare process sheets / IPOs, conduct trials and development of samples including troubleshooting Cycle time estimations & Capacity readiness as per Business plan Quality problem solving & process improvement Monitoring of supplies for first 3 months 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Hands on experience with processes Cold forging, Hot forging, Machining processes - CNC/ VMC/ Milling, drilling, tapping, Grinding, Broaching etc. and basic knowledge of Heat Treatment AutoCad, Uni graphics, Forging simulation (ForgeNXT) Selection & approval of forging dies, fixture, gauges & tools CNC programming, Cycle time estimation & cost sheet preparation Conversant with latest trends in cold forging & hot forging Behavioral : Good communication & Presentation skills and proven ability to interact with cross functional teams. 6 Likely sources Organization example OEMs Component development and R&D proto shop group,
