- Summary role description: Hiring for a Mobile Application Lead (iOS & Android) for a leading BankTech SaaS Mobile App platform provider. Role details: Title / Designation : Mobile Application Lead Reporting Manager: Associate Director Technology & Digital Banking Location: Chennai Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days office; 2 days work-from-home) Role & responsibilities: Oversee the development of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring quality, security, and performance across devices. Guide the integration of cross-platform technologies like React Native or Flutter into native apps, ensuring seamless functionality between iOS and Android. Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive banking data within mobile applications. Lead a cross-functional team of developers and engineers, fostering collaboration and delivering successful mobile app projects. Ensure the mobile apps are integrated with tools like Firebase and other backend systems for analytics, notifications, and performance tracking. Lead efforts to establish Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient mobile app updates and maintenance. Manage code versioning with systems like Git, Bitbucket, SVN, and GitLab to ensure a smooth development process and prevent code conflicts. Candidate requirements: 7+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app development with a strong background in both iOS and Android. Native iOS Development: Proficient in Objective C, Swift, Swift UI, and RxSwift. Native Android Development: Extensive experience with Java is mandatory, and Kotlin experience is preferred. Experience in either React Native or Flutter is required, with expertise in integrating cross-platform modules into native applications. Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices for mobile apps, especially in banking. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Good understanding of the Software Development Kit (SDK) lifecycle and various mobile development frameworks.
