Job Description
- Interested candidates, kindly mail to hidden_email Expert Production Performance- Centre of Excellence under Chief Production E&P has different roles across the entire value chain of E&P both in Conventional as well Non-conventional areas viz Oil /Gas (Offshore/Onshore) and CBM. Key production functions of Production Engineering / Production Management provide expertise to the New Ventures, Project teams and Business Units by Evaluating production technology suitable for new fields, effective interphase with subsurface and D&C Setting up production model for wells/ fields ensuring safe startup of well and steady state operations, building production team with capability with Artificial lift / network modelling / surface production operation, carrying studies for Production optimization and carrying out Facility audits. Job Accountabilities Provide production engineering support to Deepwater / CBM / other oil-gas fields as required. Review of well details / completion design i.e. production tubing, SCSSV, XMT specifications. Requirement of chemical injection down hole and surface. Well flow simulations and familiarity software i.e. Prosper etc. Exposure to production management i.e. OFM. Suggest actions for production optimization considering exiting production facilities and pipeline network. Defining systems and processes for safe and cost-effective operations. Developing Standard Operating Procedures for well / pipeline network operation. Field-wise Production planning and monitoring in line with AOP. Upgradation of production data management systems across different sectors- Oil/Gas, CBM etc. Setting up a Real Time collaborative framework for different Business Units Identification of applications required for production analytics. Prepare models and carry out simulation studies on Production analytics software. Setting up a framework and automation of Production planning process: stakeholder teams located at different locations eg O&M, Production, RMG, Sub Surface, Marketing. Providing data to the Crisis Management Team during drills and actual emergencies. Review Risk register for production activities across the value chain. Common Management Processes - Produce and Abandon phase for Conventional and Non-conventional fields. Technical audit of subsea /surface production facilities. Requires field visits for interaction with O&M teams during Facility build up, commissioning, Steady state operations and for Audits. Sharing lessons learnt from other Business Units to the new fields. Training engineers/operators on production engineering practices. Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) Well operation / Workover / Network modelling / completion practices. Production planning and Performance benchmarking, Mentoring. Production data management Mentoring / training of production engineers /operators. Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications) Min 18 plus years of experience in Upstream industry in the areas of Oil &Gas Operations B.E/ B. Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum discipline.
