Experience Required: 8 - 12 years Note: Looking for an Immediate / 15-day notice period. Job Summary: As our Senior PostgreSQL and DBA Developer to enhance how brokers and agencies manage data. Lead innovation, develop impactful solutions, and support our development team with scalable PostgreSQL databases. What You'll Do Manage and maintain PostgreSQL database instances across multiple environments (development, testing, production). Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Google BigQuery and related cloud technologies. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Monitor database performance, optimize SQL queries, and troubleshoot performance issues for both PostgreSQL and BigQuery. Implement and maintain database backup, recovery procedures, and data security measures for PostgreSQL. Ensure data quality and reliability within the BigQuery environment; manage access control and security policies. Design and implement efficient data models and schemas to support business requirements. Stay current with advancements in PostgreSQL and BigQuery technologies and recommend best practices for data management and processing. You'll Thrive If You Have Proven experience as a Database Engineer, DBA, or similar role with expertise in both PostgreSQL and BigQuery. Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, internals, SQL tuning, and experience with database design and maintenance. Hands-on experience designing and implementing data pipelines using Google Big Query. Proficiency in writing SQL queries and optimizing performance for both relational databases and data warehousing or data lake environments. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services related to data storage and processing. Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge on working with KAFKA & data Pipelines. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). PostgreSQL and/or Google Cloud certifications (preferred).,
