Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL DBA with 5-8 years of experience, specializing in performance tuning and optimization. You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production and development environments. Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index management. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Implement database security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with development teams to improve database design and architecture. Automate tasks using scripting (Python, Bash) and database monitoring tools. Skills & Qualifications: 5-8 years of PostgreSQL DBA experience with a focus on performance tuning. Experience with database replication, backup, and recovery. Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation. Knowledge of database security best practices.,
