Responsibilities Design stable, reliable and effective databases Modify databases according to requests and perform tests Solve database usage issues and malfunctions Develop stored procedures and SQL queries Work with developers to improve applications and establish best practices Gather user requirements and identify new features Perform database updates and migrations Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols You have BS Computer Science degree with outstanding academic performance or equivalent industry experience Minimum 5 years of experience developing relational databases on Linux such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Proven work experience as a Database developer In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring) Proficient in creating complex stored procedures and SQL scripts Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications An ability to understand frontend user requirements and have a problem-solving attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
