Location: Hyderabad Education: LL. B / LL.M About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager - Contract Management to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal knowledge, drafting and negotiation skills, and will be able to manage the full contract lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful management of various agreements, assessing legal and commercial impacts, and offering legal opinions on business development activities such as RFPs and RFQs. This role requires a deep understanding of risk management, particularly in complex services agreements, cloud services, software licensing, and consulting contracts. The ability to work in a dynamic and global environment is essential, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete lifecycle of contracts, from drafting to execution, with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance. Legal and Commercial Analysis: Identify and analyze the commercial and legal implications in agreements, offering insights into business development activities (RFPs, RFQs). Risk Management: Handle risk management activities, particularly for large and complex services agreements, cloud services agreements, application development agreements, and consulting agreements. Ensure contracts align with internal policies and client expectations. Negotiation and Drafting: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring that key risks and commercial terms are addressed, and agreements meet business objectives. Draft a variety of contracts including NDAs, SOWs, SLAs, and financial/commercial documents. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with global, cross-functional teams to manage contracts and ensure successful outcomes. Lead meetings with internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring alignment and timely closure of actions. Training and Development: Impart training to team members on best practices in contract management and risk mitigation. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and adherence to contractual obligations. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Project Management: Take ownership of assigned contract-related activities and projects, delivering high-quality work within established deadlines. After-Hours Support: Be prepared to work outside of regular hours as necessary to meet business targets or attend critical meetings. Key Skills & Competencies Strong legal knowledge with hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating contracts. Experience managing complex services agreements, cloud services agreements, software licensing, and consulting agreements. Commercial acumen with the ability to quickly grasp business dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Advanced risk management skills, with experience working in the manufacturing industry being an advantage. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English. Ability to multi-task, think creatively, and address issues flexibly. High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
