Job Description
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize Accounts Receivable operations in alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the AR team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Oversee day-to-day AR operations, including billing, collections, payment posting, and reconciliation.
- Implement best practices to streamline processes, reduce AR days, and improve cash flow.
- Monitor key AR metrics and financial performance indicators.
- Prepare and present regular reports on AR performance, trends, and outcomes to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.) and industry standards.
- Mitigate financial risks related to billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Clinical teams) to resolve AR issues and optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as payers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Recruit, train, and mentor AR staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure team productivity and effectiveness.
- Evaluate and implement AR software solutions and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in healthcare revenue cycle management technology.
- Any graduation with no backlogs is mandate.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in healthcare Accounts Receivable management, with a deep understanding of revenue cycle processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare billing systems, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
