Job Description

Job Profile: MySQL DBA (Primary) and PostgreSQL DBA (Secondary) We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with primary expertise in MySQL and secondary experience in PostgreSQL. The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing MySQL databases while also supporting PostgreSQL environments. Key tasks include database performance tuning, backup and recovery, database security, and troubleshooting. The role involves implementing database changes, ensuring high availability, and supporting development teams. Experience in database migrations, monitoring tools. The ideal candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance. Assist in managing and maintaining PostgreSQL databases as needed, ensuring reliability and performance. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization. Implement and manage regular database backups, ensuring data integrity and swift recovery when required. Ensure database security by implementing and maintaining access controls, encryption, and security patches. Conduct database performance tuning and query optimization for both MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Manage data migrations, upgrades, and schema changes with minimal disruption to services. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.,
