- Flexing It is a Freelance consulting marketplace that connects Freelancers and independent Consultants with organisations that are seeking independent talent. Flexing It has partnered with Our Client, a Global Management Consulting Firm advising in Building, Buying & Selling Technology, is looking for a technical program manager for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry. You will work with the client's CIO and infrastructure leaders to help them manage the IT Infra projects with their vendor(s) with a focus on Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), and Operations Technology (OT). 1. Project Planning & Execution: -Plan, execute, and oversee IT infrastructure projects for a client in the manufacturing domain. Develop detailed project plans, including resources, timelines, and budgets. -Ensure project milestones are met within agreed timelines, with an emphasis on delivering results that meet business needs. 2. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: -Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, issue resolution, and performance monitoring. -Serve as a program manager to collaborate closely with the client and vendor(s) to ensure smooth project delivery. 3. Risk & Issue Management: -Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues that could impact project success. -Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues. 4. Security Operations Oversight: -Review NOC, SOC, and OT runbooks for gap identification and provide consulting on security use case development. -Provide guidance on NOC, SOC, and OT technology implementation. 5. Reporting & Documentation: -Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, documenting project progress, challenges, and solutions. -Maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference and learning. 6. Escalation Management: -Handle escalations from the client, ensuring issues are resolved within the agreed-upon timeline and to the clients satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual who can juggle multiple projects while ensuring smooth collaboration between internal teams and external vendors, delivering exceptional results aligned with the clients infrastructure and security needs. Skills Required -Strong understanding of IT infrastructure services and tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, ELK, Sentinel). -Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST, SIRP, and MITRE, and understanding of security use cases, gap identification, and playbook development. Familiarity with tools like ClearPass, Zscaler, Proofpoint, Palo Alto TIM, etc. -Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITSM tools like ServiceNow. Knowledge of protocols and infrastructure management tools, such as LogicMonitor and other monitoring solutions. -Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and presentation skills. -Ability to manage multiple projects and work with different leaders across the clients organization.,
