Job Description
- Overview The role of Automation Testing (Java + Selenium) is crucial to our organization as it is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The individual in this role will play a key part in the implementation and execution of automated test scripts, contributing to the overall success of our development projects. Key Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation Executing automated test scripts and analyzing results to identify and report defects Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for efficient and reliable test execution Identifying opportunities for script optimization and test automation framework enhancements Contributing to the creation and maintenance of test data and test environments Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on testability and quality aspects Supporting manual testing efforts and assisting in the troubleshooting of issues Collaborating with developers to resolve software defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality products Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates and raise potential risks Documenting test cases, test results, and automation processes Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging automation testing technologies Assisting in the training and mentoring of team members on automation testing techniques Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Proven experience in automated testing using Java and Selenium for web-based applications Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and verification Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts using scripting languages Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile environment Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with strong attention to detail Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Familiarity with software development life cycle and quality assurance processes Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution Understanding of performance and security testing concepts is a plus Certifications in software testing or related areas is advantageous Skills: sql queries,quality assurance,version control systems,quality assurance processes,automation,scripting,ci/cd,agile methodologies,testing,debugging,scripting languages,java,automated testing,agile,selenium,
