About The Job We are looking for a skilled Manual and Automation Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing manual test cases as well as developing and maintaining automated test scripts. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Develop, review, and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and design specifications. Identify, record, document, and track bugs through to resolution using issue tracking tools (e.g. , Jira). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks (e.g. , Selenium, Appium). Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify and report defects. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to increase efficiency and coverage. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing functionality after code changes. Provide timely and accurate test reports and status updates to stakeholders. Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in software testing. Requirements Proven experience as a Manual and Automation Tester or similar role. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. Experience with manual testing processes, including test case design, execution, and defect management. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing. Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language (e.g. , Java, Python) for test automation. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
