Job Description

Job Title: Mobile QA Engineer Location: Chennai Years of Experience: 5 to 8 Years Position Overview: As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android) to ensure they meet our quality standards and deliver an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, perform manual and automated testing, and contribute to the overall improvement of our mobile products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications. Perform manual and automated testing on mobile devices and emulators to identify defects and ensure the application functions as intended. Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design test cases that cover a range of scenarios. Report, track, and verify bugs and issues using bug tracking tools. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to the development process. Ensure mobile applications are tested across different devices, operating systems, and screen sizes. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in mobile testing. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on mobile applications. Strong knowledge of mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso). Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques. Familiarity with mobile development processes and platforms (iOS, Android). Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing and security testing for mobile applications. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Swift, or Kotlin. Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and tools.,
