Quality Assurance Lead - Automation Testing @ Mifm Operations

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Analyze user stories, requirements, and technical design documents to understand system functionalities and identify potential risks. Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing. Design and implement effective test plans and test cases covering all aspects of the application. Prepare and maintain test data for various test scenarios. Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and address potential testing challenges during the design phase. Lead the development and maintenance of robust and maintainable automation frameworks using Robot Framework. Write and execute automation scripts for UI and API testing using Python and Selenium. Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Analyze test results, identify trends, and generate comprehensive test reports. Identify, log, and track defects in a timely and accurate manner using a bug tracking system. Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues effectively. Provide clear and concise defect reports with detailed steps to reproduce. Mentor and guide junior QA team members in testing methodologies and best practices. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to ensure smooth project delivery. Review and provide feedback on test cases prepared by other team members. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices. Qualifications 6-9 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on web-based applications. Proven experience in leading and executing test automation projects. Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium. In-depth knowledge of API testing, functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing. Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, XML). Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (STLC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech),
