- Job Description: Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation team is seeking a talented, dynamic and experienced QA lead to join our team. The aspirant will have the opportunity to define automation framework, test infrastructure, scripting and coordinating with Quality Engineers and Developers. Establish Quality Assurance practices and procedure for software (Desktop, Web and Mobile) and embedded system to improve test coverage. Key Deliverables: Develop Automation strategy and scope that aligns with the companys overall goals and objectives. Lead and Manage Test Automation projects from initiation to completion, including identifying the right technologies, tools and platform, scoping out project requirements. Mentoring Quality Engineers, providing them with guidance to ensure the team delivers high quality software and solutions. Follow Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and create test plan and automation strategy for Desktop, Web and Mobile and embedded application. Design and implement a robust testing strategy for our SaaS applications on Cloud(Azure). Prepare functional test plan. Prepare Security Test plan to ensure cybersecurity and data privacy. Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science. At least 8+ years of experience in testing and test automation with total 12-15 years of total experience in engineer company. Minimum 5+ years of leading Software QA function. Experience: Experience with Test Management tools such as Xray, JIRA, etc.Good knowledge of SQL, REST, JSON, XML, HTML, XPath, CSS, OWASP Web and OWASP MobileGood knowledge in python and python modules like paramiko, pyserial,RPyC, Multithreading, Multiprocessing, AsyncIO Experience with test Automation Framework such as Pytest/Robot Framework, Django,Selenium, Appium,Squish Experience with Agile methodologies. Proficient with building CI/CD framework using tools such as GIT, Jenkins and JFrog Experience of black box, grey box and white box testing and line coverage and branch coverage Good experience in UI and API layer testing and automation of the same. Sound knowledge of test automation principals and patterns (Clean Code, POM, BDD, TDD). Experience in documenting defects, reproduction steps, RCAs, and producing technical documentation. Strong experience in load test, performance tests using tools like JMeter, Blaze meter, Azure load test, or similar tools. Experience in automated deployment tools such as Azure pipeline or similar. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE), or similar.Ability to identify test scenarios and prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) Ability to analyse requirement/user stories and prioritize testing. Ability to carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Preferred Industry Experience: Power Distribution, Energy Management, Water, Oil & Gas Good to have: Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL), Generative AI based test automation.
