Job Description

Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer I with a focus on front-end development to join our team. As a Frontend Developer at Phot.AI, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining user interfaces for our web-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience. Responsibilities Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces for web applications using modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Reactjs). Collaborate with designers and backend developers to translate UI/UX designs and requirements into functional front-end code. Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI designs. Optimise application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in React.js and its core principles. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux). Knowledge of Fabric.js for canvas manipulation. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products. Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions to technical problems. Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and contribute to product planning and feature prioritisation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience. Solid understanding of frontend web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Proficiency in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. 5 + yrs of experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm). Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs. Previous experience working in an Agile development environment. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform. (ref:hirist.tech),
