Job Description
- Our client is a global leader in their industry who continue to grow each year and continue to make a difference in the world and because of that have a key opening in their tax group. This individual will work in a fast paced environment as part of the tax Operations/Reporting group. In this role you will help our client ensure that it remains a Best in Class tax department with regard to the quality and efficiency of their income tax provision and compliance processes. Responsibilities Prepare and review income tax provisions under ASC740 as well as the tax-related financial information and disclosures to be included in the applicable SEC filings (notably Forms 10-K and 10-Q) Review and validate Deferred tax assets and liabilities Analyze and quantify the primary drivers of the companys effective tax rate Partner with the Tax Forecasting team to identify and explain variances from forecast to actual Partner with the planning teams to ensure all M&A transactions are accurately recorded in the provision and reported on the income tax returns Conduct technical research and maintain compliance with IRS rules/regulations and rules under ASC740 Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance CPA Strongly preferred 5+ years" of experience of professional tax experience Well-developed technical skills within ASC 740 for large multinational companies Experience developing, preparing or reviewing financial models A mindset for processes improvement and optimization Strong communication and analytical skills,
