Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Data Technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in working with a variety of Azure data components and tools, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics. The role involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions and transforming data using advanced programming languages.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop Data Pipelines: Build, implement, and manage ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
• Data Management: Manage and query data using Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Warehouse, and Synapse Analytics.
• Data Transformation: Develop and optimize data transformation logic using Python, Pyspark, Scala, or Hive.
• CI/CD Pipeline Creation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data environments to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions and meet business objectives.

Primary Skills & Qualifications:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF) OR Azure Databricks (ADB) expertise.
• Strong experience working with Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Warehouse, and Synapse Analytics.
• Proficient in Python, Pyspark, Scala, and Hive for developing data transformations.
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in data environments.

Secondary Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in both team-based and independent environments.
• Problem-solving mindset with a passion for working with data technologies.
