Job Description
Dear Candidates,
We are looking for a passionate and driven AutoCAD Draughtsman to work with our design team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD software to make technical drawings as per the clients guidelines and requirements.
- Ensure that drawings are of excellent quality with zero errors within tight deadlines.
- Ensure that detailed drawings are made and all aspects of technical/material details are factored into.
- Provide support to the sales/production teams in relation to the drawings.
- Contribute from project shop drawings phase through to production, to see design through to completion.
Preferred Skills
- Must be experienced and knowledgeable in architectural plans, elevations & sectional drawings.
- Drawing to scale (imperial/metric) in AutoCAD and /or Adobe Illustrator.
- Dimensioning and annotation of design and technical and production shop drawings.
- Knowledge of materials and production methods for Kiosks, Podiums, Gondolas, furniture etc, of high end luxury brands.
- Creating 2D and 3D design and technical shop drawings.
- Finish quality design drawings, hand sketching, and researching of materials and fabrication techniques to justify design.
- Ability to plan, manage and work to project deadlines and design budgets.
- Flexible and dependable with the ability to work in multifaceted working environments.
- Demonstrate a passion for design and specifically related to signage, retail elements and graphics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an architectural, interior design or manufacturing company creating technical drawings for luxury brands.
