Software Test Engineer - Manual+ Automation Testing Experience: 4 to 10 years in ( 2+ Years in Automation is must ) Designation: Software Test engineer Opportunity Type: Work from office , Sindhu Bhavan Road, Ahmedabad Primary Skills: Security Testing, Manual Testing, Selenium, Automation Testing, Azure, Quality Assurance Job Description: As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products across various platforms. You will work closely with development teams to understand requirements, design test cases, execute tests, and report bugs. Your responsibilities will span manual and automated testing of desktop, web, and mobile applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and functionality. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications for desktop, web, and mobile applications. Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues across multiple platforms. Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality on desktop, web, and mobile platforms. Collaborate closely with development teams to understand software requirements and design test strategies accordingly for each platform. Document test results, including defects found, test coverage, and test execution status for desktop, web, and mobile applications. Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects of applications across platforms. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process by suggesting process enhancements, tools, and methodologies for desktop, web, and mobile testing. Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies related to desktop, web, and mobile application testing. Provide timely and accurate feedback to stakeholders on the quality and readiness of applications for release across platforms. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and priorities for desktop, web, and mobile applications. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an Application Tester with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies across desktop, web, and mobile platforms. Proficiency in testing applications on Windows, Web & Mobile platforms. Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar for web and mobile testing. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation across platforms. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). ISTQB or similar certification is a plus. Healthcare industry experience Perks: Referral bonus.
