Job Description
- Network Security Engineer Experience: Proven experience with Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls, as well as VMware Cloud (VMC) environments. Technical Skills Proficiency in firewall configuration, network security protocols, and cloud security practices. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident response procedures. Shift- 5PM to 2AM Hybrid Mode Location- : Support perimeter (firewall, IDS/IPS) initiatives requiring innovation, automation, and integration in physical datacenters and in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Build, configure, deploy, and support Palo Alto, Juniper, NSG, Azure, AWS and GCP Firewalls, IDS/IPS and Infrastructure Automation technologies. Customer focused; supporting security operations that includes incident resolution, service delivery, technology configuration and lifecycle, planning,and technical security investigations and forensic collection. Use decision making behaviors that require analytical, interpretative, and creative thinking to solve problems. Firewall Management: Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls to ensure robust perimeter security. Security Policies: Develop and enforce security policies and rules for firewall and network traffic management. Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. VMware Cloud Integration: Implement and manage security controls within VMware Cloud (VMC) environments to protect cloud-based resources. Performance Optimization Optimize firewall performance and ensure high availability and reliability of perimeter security systems. Documentation Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations,policies, and procedures. Compliance Ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational security standards. Collaboration Work with other IT teams to integrate security solutions with existing systems and support overall security posture. Upgrades And Patching Regularly update and patch firewall systems to address vulnerabilities and enhance security. Problem-Solving Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to address complex security issues. Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. (ref:hirist.tech),
