Job Description

The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

Lead and maintain infrastructure under GFS Data Management portfolio. The responsibility will include development of a road map, data controls: recon and validations, data quality, agile delivery model, finance and treasury domain knowledge, Service Management plan, control changes and ensure continuous availability of the infrastructure to its stakeholder.

Business

  • Manage changes from definition / initiation to closure, across multiple platforms in the Performance Management Reporting space.
  • Lead the Impact Assessment / Business Analysis and UAT.
  • Proactively manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, team, objectives, and benefits.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders including business units, technology, service delivery.
  • Ensure Organisation prescribed Change / Project Management methodologies / processes including the value behaviours are adhered to.
  • Develop strong domain content and build best practice (Business Analysis and Project / Change Management).
  • Promote Group s values and behaviours.
  • Work towards continuous improvement of Change Management processes.

People and Talent

  • Manage and develop people at various grades and skill for efficient management of the infrastructure.
  • Skill and People development.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Define responsibilities and objectives for team members.
  • Ensure orientation and induction.
  • Provide periodic constructive feedback and coaching to individuals to improve their performance / career development.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 12 - 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of and prior experience in working on the relevant platforms is an advantage (Micro strategy, Hyperion Essbase, HFM, PSGL, Oracle, SQL, ETL, Data warehouse, BIG Data, OBIEE).
  • Domain skills on ERP, Reporting, Client Analytics and Reporting, Management Reporting, P&L, Asset-Liability Management or other Balance Sheet reporting.
  • PMP / or any other Professional certification will be an added advantage.
  • International Exposure through short / long term assignment.
  • Good understanding of banking products / Operations.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A experience people manager.
  • Strong analytical skills.
