System Quality Assurance/ Automation Engineer @ SailPoint Technologies

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test plans and test cases. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure the quality of the software. Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Continuously improve the automation framework and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA automation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in QA automation, including experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exposure to Salesforce Exposure to Xray Available to work in second / afternoon shift to support US time zone Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing and load testing tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with version control systems such as Github. Certification in software testing or quality assurance.
