Job Description for Network Security Engineer

Network Admin resource who will be involved in Implementation & Support functions of Application Load Balancers or Web App Firewalls. This role will be for resource specialize in Citrix / F5 /Radware Application Delivery Controllers and also having basic knowledge of Cisco network/ Security technologies.

• Job Accountabilities
• Application Delivery Controller (ADC) Support Operations
• Network & Security Infrastructure Operations

• Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
• Strong Knowledge of Load balancing concepts, content Switching (OSI Layer 4-7 Switching), Routing,Caching and Content Delivery, VPN Gateway, Global Server LB ,Web Application Firewall (WAF) on Citrix/F5/Radware Application delivery controllers
• Basic knowledge of Network/Infrastructure Security technologies (Firewall, Access control, Intrusion detection, Intrusion prevention )
• Basic knowledge of Networking: OSI Layer 2 (Spanning tree, vPC, EtherChannel, VLAN, etc), Layer 3 switching /routing (OSPF, BGP, IPv4/6), DNS/DHCP, network virtualization ( VRF), basics of higher layer protocols: SSL/TLS, HTTP
• Experience in Troubleshooting, Configuration of F5/LB Network, Server & Application environments
• Good communication skill
