Job Our Client Our client, a leading Multi Client Family office that was established in the year 2013 and providing wealth advisory services to HNI clients across India and the USA, presently manages assets worth USD 250 million. They are seeking a highly qualified professional to fill the following key role: Location: Hyderabad/ Ahmedabad Role - Vice President - Investments - India-unlisted The Vice President will work closely with the founding partners and the rest of the team. This leadership role will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end investment process, from deal sourcing to portfolio management and will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and actively managing the client's investment portfolio. Key Responsibilities Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Proactively identify and source investment opportunities within Enterprise and Frontier technology sectors. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to assess the viability and potential of potential investments. Evaluate business plans, financial models, and management teams to make informed investment recommendations. Due Diligence: Work closely with the partners and clients to structure and negotiate investment terms. Lead the due diligence process for potential investments, including Financial, legal, and commercial assessments. Collaborate with external advisors, legal teams, and industry experts to gather relevant information. Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports and present findings to the investment committee. Investment Execution: Drive the documentation process, including term sheets, investment agreements, and other legal documents. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Portfolio Management: Actively monitor and manage the firm's portfolio of investments. Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance and support. Support Partners and collaborate with founders and client teams to optimize business performance. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies. Evaluate Existing Funds in the PE / VC Space to invest into and take Co-investment Rights Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform investment strategies. Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders, including fund performance updates and investment summaries. Communicate effectively with the Partners, internal teams, Investment committee, and other relevant stakeholders. The Successful Candidate Should Possess Strong analytical capability. Sound understanding of financial statements & business drivers. Good communication & networking. Excited about technology startups. Able to work independently but is also a good team player. Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills CA or B.Tech. + MBA from Top B-schools or CFA, with 7 to 10 years of experience, ideally on the buy-side (PE or VC firms) or consulting firms/investment banks or leading a startup.
