- Job Title : Manual Testing and UI Automation Engineer Experience Level : Mid-Level Years of Experience : 4+ years Location : Gurugram,Pune,Bangalore,Navi Mumbai Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Testing and UI Automation Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual testing methodologies and techniques, coupled with proficiency in creating and maintaining UI automation scripts. As a Manual Testing and UI Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing : Manual Testing Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide testing insights. Document test results, track defects, and communicate testing progress effectively. UI Automation Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium). Create and manage automated test suites for regression and functional testing of web and mobile applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts, ensuring their reliability and accuracy. Continuously enhance and update automation scripts to accommodate changes in application features and requirements. Test Strategy And Improvement Contribute to the development of the overall testing strategy, including manual and automated testing approaches. Identify opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness through automation. Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure proper test coverage and align testing efforts with development and Communication : Work closely with the development team to understand the technical aspects of the software and its architecture. Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Participate in team meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions to drive quality : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of software applications. Strong experience in creating and executing manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts. At least 2 years of practical experience in developing UI automation scripts using tools like Selenium or Appium. Technical Skills Proficiency in testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test management tools. Solid understanding of web and mobile application technologies and architectures. Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for automation, such as Java, Python, or C#. Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical information to non-technical : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address software defects and issues. Adaptability Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements. (ref:hirist.tech),
