QA Test Lead Job in Cynosure Corporate

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to validate the functionality and accuracy of Power BI dashboards and reports using data
• from Databricks.
• Collaborate closely with business users, data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate testing
• strategies.
• Execute test cases systematically to identify defects, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies within the Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between Databricks and Power BI to ensure data integrity and consistency across the ecosystem.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end testing process and maintain detailed documentation of test results, issues, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data products.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data quality assurance efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in quality assurance/testing roles with a focus on data validation, preferably involving Power BI and Databricks.
• Proficiency in creating test scenarios, test cases, and executing test scripts for data-driven applications.
• Strong understanding of SQL queries, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Databricks or similar data visualization and processing tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve datarelated issues efficiently.
• Experience in Agile or similar software development methodologies is a plus.
