Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Wordpress Backend Developer located in Shimla. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as back-end web development, front-end development, responsive web design, web design, and web development. Requirements Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. Work with frontend developers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly. Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and efficient resource management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress backend functionality, including themes, plugins, and server configuration. Build custom solutions for clients needs, including developing new features and functionalities. Collaborate with the design and frontend development teams to ensure a cohesive user experience. Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability by adhering to best practices. Manage database structure and queries in WordPress using MySQL. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Perform website migrations and updates with minimal downtime. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and WordPress advancements. Qualifications: Proven experience as a WordPress Backend Developer or similar role. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress. Experience with custom theme and plugin development. Strong understanding of web development best practices, including security, performance, and SEO. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for integration purposes). Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Knowledge of caching systems and optimizing WordPress for speed. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.,
