Job Description
- Job Responsibilities : Core Technical Prepare and review project Architectural and Interior specifications and design basis. Preparation and review of general Architectural and Interior specifications Preparation of Architectural and Interior design basis. Preparation and review of various deliverable contents and formats. To review and improve engineering processes. Detail engineering activities and site support. Preparation and checking of deliverables like Drawings Specifications, B.O.Q, and databases Providing technical guidance to subordinates. Interdisciplinary checks and co-ordination. Support and resolution of site queries. Vendor evaluation, inspection and testing. Inspection of vendor products and expediting. Review of vendor offer and technical Bid Evaluation Support in factory approvals and inspection of materials like furniture and other items Plan and organize project related activities. To prepare and plan deliverable schedule and co-ordinate with project control To review job progress and liaise with HOD for catch up plan To determine manpower requirements and other resources for projects Provide status reports and feedback of team activities to HOD Proposal Engineering Prepare Architecture and Interior budget estimate for the project Prepare man hours estimate for Architectural and Interior related activities To keep abreast of the latest trends and technology. To attend technical training and seminars and keep abreast of latest trends and technology. Continuously review obsolescence of soft skills and technology and evaluate application of new & profitable technologies Responsibilities when operating as a part of Project task Force Review of Reliance specifications to ensure all stake holders needs are addressed Participate in value engineering at the outset of the project Ensure all the engineering processes, procedures and instructions are followed by DEC during detail engineering Responsible for all review work conducted by other design engineers and sr. design engineers nominated for that project Responsible for all interface between other discipline leads assigned to the project and to resolve all inter-discipline problem and contradiction Responsible for liaising with Procurement and various vendors Education Requirement : B. Architecture / Master. Architecture. Experience Requirement : 12-18 years of experience in the area of detail engineering Skills & Competencies : Design Basis Overall project cost and schedule Multi-discipline knowledge and validation of design inputs Budgeting and cost control Best Industry Practices Value Engineering methodology Major national and international standards Customer Orientation Change Management Leadership and Strategic Direction,
