Job Description
- Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
- Cashflow Management: Ensure effective cash flow management, monitoring and forecasting liquidity to support business operations and growth.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Balance Sheet & Reconciliation Checks: Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- GST & Statutory Compliance: Ensure the companys adherence to GST and other regulatory requirements, including timely filing of returns and payments.
- Business Partnering: Work with various departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making. Provide financial insights to guide strategic business decisions
- Qualified Accountant: CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in a similar finance role, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Financial Insight: Ability to provide actionable financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic direction.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-On Approach: Ability to combine strategic thinking with a detail-oriented, practical approach to financial management.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading and developing a small finance team.
