Role and Responsibilities

As a Garment Assessor, you will:

• Conduct practical and theoretical assessments for candidates trained under the [specific scheme, e.g., Textiles/PMKVY/SANKALP/Samarth] in garment-making skills.
• Evaluate candidates' competencies against the National Occupational Standards (NOS).
• Submit detailed assessment reports within specified timelines.
• Ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to assessment protocols.

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Garment Technology, Fashion Design, or Textile Design from a recognized institution. (3 Year Duration Regular)

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in the garment industry, preferably in stitching, pattern making, or apparel manufacturing.
• Previous experience as an assessor is an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of garment-making techniques, tools, and materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
