Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with potential customers through various direct marketing channels such as telephone calls, emails, SMS, and social media platforms to generate leads and promote life insurance products.
  • Present and explain the features, benefits, and value proposition of life insurance products and services, addressing customer concerns and objections effectively to close sales.
  • Identify and target customer segments and market niches in Tamil Nadu with high potential for life insurance sales, leveraging data analytics, market research, and customer profiling techniques.
  • Develop and implement strategic prospecting plans and campaigns to generate new leads, referrals, and sales opportunities, expanding the customer base.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversion of sales.
  • Conduct regular customer reviews to assess their changing needs, provide recommendations, and cross-sell/up-sell supplementary products and services.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Educational Qualification: Any degree (Bachelors degree in any discipline).
  • At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Tamil and English to interact effectively with the local customer base.
  • Sound knowledge of insurance products, sales techniques, and market trends.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and maintain long-term customer relationships
