    Job Description: Project Manager - Residential Interiors Position Overview: The Project Manager for Residential Interiors will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of interior design and renovation projects in residential settings. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a solid background in interior design, construction, and project management. They will manage project timelines, coordinate with vendors and clients, ensure budget compliance, and maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and design preferences. Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Work closely with architects, designers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project alignment. Define scope of work, and set achievable project milestones. Budget & Cost Management: Prepare detailed project budgets, cost estimates, and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and contractors. Monitor expenditures to ensure the project stays within budget and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Vendor & Contractor Management: Source and manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers. Oversee contractor performance and ensure they meet agreed-upon quality standards and timelines. Resolve any disputes or issues that arise with vendors and contractors. Project Execution & Supervision: Supervise on-site work, ensuring design specifications are followed and quality standards are met. Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively. Conduct regular site visits and manage quality control to ensure adherence to design and safety standards. Client Communication & Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or feedback. Ensure client satisfaction by aligning the project outcome with the client's vision and expectations. Provide design input and suggestions, where needed, to enhance client satisfaction. Quality Assurance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements. Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct final inspections and ensure all design elements meet the client's expectations before project handover. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of project timelines, costs, changes, and updates. Prepare and present regular status reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in residential interiors. Strong understanding of residential design, construction processes, and materials. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.). Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. LEED certification (a plus). Relevant interior design or construction management certifications. Work Environment: Office-based with regular site visits to residential properties. Must be able to travel as needed for client meetings, site inspections, and contractor management. This role requires a highly organized individual with a passion for design and the ability to manage complex residential interior projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-vision delivery.
