- Job Title: Engineering Manager Data Analytics & Data Engineering Location: Hyderabad Experience Level: 8-10 Years About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our Data Analytics and Data Engineering teams. This role is a critical leadership position, overseeing a team of talented professionals with diverse experience levels. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving excellence across our data ecosystem, ensuring seamless collaboration between analytics and engineering functions, and delivering impactful insights and solutions to our business. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, business analysts, and data engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Conduct performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. 2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Business, and IT stakeholders, to define data strategies and deliverables. Communicate progress, challenges, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels. 3. Technical Oversight: Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines, analytics dashboards, and ETL processes. Ensure optimal utilization of tools and platforms such as AWS Redshift, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Scala, Spark, Python, Tableau, and Mode Analytics. Guide the team in implementing best practices for data architecture, governance, and security. Drive best practices for data management, advanced SQL, and clickstream analytics tools such as Clevertap or Amplitude. Oversee the development of Business and Product KPIs/metrics and ensure teams monitor them effectively. 4. Agile Development: Drive agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects and iterative improvements. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. 5. Business Impact: Partner with business and product analytics teams to generate actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Champion data-driven culture across the organization. Required Qualifications: 1. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools and technologies: AWS Redshift, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Scala, Spark, Python, Tableau, and Mode Analytics. Strong understanding of Business Analytics and Product Analytics frameworks. 2. Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing teams with varied experience levels. Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. 3. Agile Methodologies: Practical experience implementing and driving agile development practices. 4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to navigate complex challenges and provide effective solutions. 5. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and big data solutions. Familiarity with additional visualization tools and frameworks.
