What You Will Achieve

As an Associate Manager in the Business Excellence function at Pfizer Vizag site, you will support the planning, execution, and completion of various strategic projects. You will be coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will also assist in identifying project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with Pfizers quality and safety standards. You will support our programs by managing the review of the status of the project, budget, schedules and preparing status reports. You will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfactions goals.

Your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams. It is your hard work and dedication that will make Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.

How you will achieve (Responsibilities)

  • Project Planning and Execution: Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Ensure projects are executed according to plan and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, MSAT & Validation and production, to ensure project milestones are met. Facilitate communication and coordination among team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any issues or deviations from the plan.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Prepare and present project updates to senior management.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with Pfizers quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies. Share best practices and lessons learned with the team.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Education: Bachelors degree in engineering/ business administration/ project management .
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in project management software (e. g. , Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • A Masters degree along with substantial work experience in project management
  • PMP certification
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • High level of adaptability and willingness to learn
